Writing is a task of creativity. In order to produce an exceptional piece of writing that represents your imagination, authors need to be aware of the standard requirements of creative biography writing. Apart from the basic grammar and punctuation, there are several more writing standards that are helpful during the writing and analysis phase of biography writing.

Primarily, when authors pass the elementary grammar standard of writing, there is a need to select the style of writing that will be pursued throughout the biography.

There are three Standard Biography Writing Styles that the author usually use during their writing phase and each style represents different feeling with its own style.

Three styles of biography writing:

Literature:

This style is most suited for academic biographies because it meets the reading requirements and includes the selection of words that are suitable for the academic audience. This style strictly follows the scholarly nonfiction standards of creative biography writing.

In this biography, an author needs to follow strict methodologies of research and they are advised to cite their utilized research sources in the bibliography section.

Universal:

This style represents the personal feeling of the protagonist. Authors need to follow the general biography writing standard that is suitable for a universal audience. Universal biography style conveys the bio information in an interesting, sensible and appealing manner.

Sometimes, the audience gets the touch of the protagonist’s writing style or personal tone in universal biography.

Creative:

This is considered a creative biography writing style of the Twentieth Century. Authors or fiction authors produce the biography that includes the beautification of words and installation of some ingenious fictitious instruments that makes the biography more like a piece of the narrative discussion.

It is structured as an authentic story where you can find discussion, conflict as well as a climax.

When you follow the Twentieth Century biography style for your biography, you need to understand the fact that this is the most preferred biography style but it is considered most time consuming, the effort taking and hardest inventive writing style which might require more than you expect.

Idea of Harry Potter

The idea of Harry Potter Witchery and imaginings of Hogwarts always make readers and viewers curious about the author and her life. However, the origination of this internationally popular series didn’t come from a theatrical place or in a dramatic time.

Joanne Rowling says that the time when she got the idea of Harry Potter world is not much different than any other day of her life. In the year 1990, she was traveling from Manchester to London King’s Cross and her train was unexpectedly delayed. 4 hour time of delay in her train gave her the gift of a new idea. She started writing this as soon as she reached her Clapham Junction flat. And turned an idea into a book.

She was impressed with Harry Potter. So, she decided to pursue the idea and create a whole new world of witchcraft out of it. She planned her next five books of the series over the next five years. We moved to Bournemouth when I was four. And when I was finally learning the world around me. We moved again. Yes. But this time we moved to Windermere, Florida.

Well, moving from city to city is not a big deal, right? Well, it was for me. I was born with partial hearing in one ear that gradually faded. With time, I couldn’t hear from that ear at all. That made me an easy target for those who were always there to judge me.

After selecting the writing style for your autobiography, you would need to decide the length of your biography which can be decided as per the utilization purpose.

• Micro biographies are used to introduce yourself in a few lines. Example of micro bio can be blogger’s biography at the end of the blog and writer’s introduction at the beginning of the book etc.
• Brief biographies are usually a few paragraphs long. Example of a brief biography can be the introduction in a book or in any other introductory occasion.
• Extensive biographies are a page or two that describes every single important detail of the protagonist. Example of extensive biography: author introduction and so on.

Note:

Writing length and writing style doesn’t have any necessary connection. You can choose any length or even customize the length according to your preference so that you can express your feelings with your words in your most preferred creative biography writing style.

Finally, when you are in the editing phase, you need to make sure that your biography is capable of attracting visitors not just from its words but also from its appearance. The appeal of your biography will not be just beautification of words, it should also consist of the beautification of visuals.
